This field guide was designed to encourage children to plan and conduct their own field expedition. Going out and exploring, learn more about birds, and observing them in detail while enjoying contact with nature.

This brochure brings together science and stories of the local community of Quininí, Cundinamarca. Through the text and illustrations, facts are intertwined with anecdotes, knowledge, and field experiences. The brochure is part of the project "Conservation of amphibians and reptiles in transformed rural landscapes through ecological assessment".

This catalog presents information on birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals, bees, and plant species from Río Claro, Antioquia, which were prioritized according to the criteria of specialists in the different biological groups and the communities' knowledge and perceptions of the biodiversity of their territory.

Ornithological plates

As part of my anthropology thesis, I worked with several museum-based ornithologist at ornithological collections in Colombia. The plates are a graphic-narrative device that condense the dialogue with bird collectors.
